Plum Village takes its name from the plum fields surrounding the Mindfulness practice center founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in the 1980s. When the community settled in the area, they planted 1250 plum trees.

Our delicious plums are grown in the fields of Lower Hamlet and New Hamlet. They are grown naturally without using any pesticides, but they don’t have an official organic certification.
The 350 gr plums jams are made by the tranformation of plum into Jam
The nutritional properties have been preserved, vitamins, fibres and trace elements are still present.
