About

The Plum Village Shop offers the possibility of bringing the practice and a taste of Plum Village right into your daily life, as a reminder that we have all the conditions to cultivate mindfulness, here and now.

The main purpose of the shop is to offer a range of products in order to support and deepen the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (“Thay”).

You will find a large number of Thay’s writings and books, covering a wide range of subjects. We offer reproductions of Thay’s calligraphies as a source of meditation, concentration and deep insight, to inspire us in our daily lives. We also offer mindfulness bells, cushions, chimes, incense, and decorative items. Finally, we have a wide range of fair trade and environmentally friendly clothing.

All profits of the shop support the monks and nuns to share the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and mindfulness to the world.

The Plum Village Shop is a French company created in 2011 by Sister Chan Khong.

Our Rhythm

The Plum Village Shop follows the schedule and activities of the Plum Village residential community in rural France and the retreats held here.

We are committed to taking care of your orders with all our heart and we take time to breathe mindfully when we process your requests. Well-being and relaxation in our work is an important quality that we cultivate and infuse in your orders. We are happy to have you in our life and know that we are not separate from each other.

We are grateful for your patience and understanding as the parcels make their way to your home.

The Art of Mindful Shopping

On this website, we wish to offer a unique opportunity to practice mindful shopping. We invite you to ask yourself the meaning of a purchase and to be fully aware of the impact on our environment. We do everything we can to reduce our negative impact and to preserve Mother Earth.

We invite you to take this moment as a practice of moderation and to take the time to look deeply at the habit energies that guide our life.

In Plum Village, we vow to live simply and we recognize that we already have more than enough conditions to live happily in the here and now.
